Advice for Life: Join a Meetup Group

Join a Meetup Group.  Meetup is an online network of local groups in 45,000 cities across the globe, with 6 million members.  There are 68,000 groups so you are sure to find something that interests you.  In my city alone, there are over 300 different meetup groups.  Meetup Groups are formed around a common interest ranging  from:  hiking meetups, to learning spanish meetups, to raw food meetups, to cultural events meetups to knitting meetups to board game meetups.  Literally whatever you are interested in, chances are there is a meetup group.  Best of all is that most Meetup Groups are usually free to join or with very minimal fees, i.e. $10 a year.  By joining a Meetup Group you will meet meet new interesting people who you have something in common with and just may just make your life a little richer.
